Two and a half years ago I started a business quite literally 'on a shoestring'. It has grown over the months and I have struggled continually to keep it going. I need to expand: specifically on stock (merchandise) and advertising, as well as some funds to help with building upgrades and employees that I would like to be able to hire. If there are grant funds available for women run businesses, I would like to know how to apply.
We are a small business that produces waiting room education DVD's for various doctors. We have had a great response but are very low on capital. We feel confidant that this will fly we just need more time to get the word out. Our product can be customized and is extremely affordable. We are not in need of a lot of money, just enough to help with getting things up and running.
